Hi Michael,
I live and work in Sydney but I'm not Australian. I can say everything here
is nice and people are so friendly.
Regarding
- Parking: It is hard to find place to park in North Sydney where Cisco
exist exam centre exist. So the train is the right option.
- Finding Cisco: It is so easy if you will use the train. Just go to
St-Leonards station. When you get out the train you will find a very big red
sign leads you to Cisco exam centre entrance. It is just on top of the train
station in the Forum complex.
- Things to do in the area: If you can book your accomodation in Chatswood
(two train stations away from Cisco centre) you can enjoy shoping in a
massive shoping centre, resturants from different cultures and all things
like banks etc ...
- The Proctor: In fact the proctor is not necessary be australian. Most
probably he is Indian guy. So you don't have to worry about accent.
- Accent and language: Take it easy. The only thing you need to know is to
use the word MATE any time you talk to some one. Please mate ... how you
going mate ... mate, would you pla pla etc ...
Good luck in your exam. Soon I will do mine in March 2nd.
