DVMRP Tunnel to mrouted

hello,

I am learning about PIM-DVRMP interoperability, but I want to do lab
to better understand how they interact. I have a linux machine running
mrouted and Cisco router with a DVMRP tunnel. The tunnel is up and I
see probes coming from the mrouted machine.

My question is - what else can I do from here? Afaik, there is no
"igmp join-group" command on Linux (debian, btw). Is there a way to
get multicast traffic flowing across this tunnel? I have Googled quite
a bit on this but can't seem to find a nice tutorial or scenario.
