Atlantaccie, nortic, Hun et al.

Seriously,

I joined GS in other to get encouragement and learn from other professionals
as I prepare for my CCIE lab exam. I cannot deny the level of Cisco
networking skill displayed by a lot of people in GS.

However, I cannot say the same for their bigoted and insensitive jibes at
people of non US or Western Europe nationality. Take for example, the
comments about scammers and Nigeria, or the snide comments about Arabs or
Chinese or Indians being the ones that cheat most at the lab. If I want to
indulge in ethno political flaming, I know where to go, and it should not be
GS. It's pretty obvious to me that smartness and stupidity can coexist.

I am Nigerian, no apologies, and i don't like anyone, no matter how
seemingly smart the person is to call me a scammer, directly or indirectly,
no not at all. Yes, there are scammers in Nigeria, just like there thieves
and murderers and hackers and all sorts of criminals in different countries.
I have seen enough of such in the US and UK, for example.

I will not allow anyone call me a scammer and just let it go. For all those
ignorant/stupid people that make such comments, maybe you live in paradise,
where everyone is perfect. Please let me know such a place ok.

GS moderators,
Like I said, if I want ethno political fights, I know where to go. I believe
you guys should let everyone on this forum know (or maybe remind people)
what this forum is all about. I don't know how long such bigoted comments
have been going on in GS, since I am just a few months old in GS, but I
would want to believe that it's not the norm.

Regards,
Valentine
