Hello again James! Keep up the great work.
If they truly do not tell you what to do implicitly or explicitly -
form a habit that makes sense for you and helps you to configure
things as accurately and efficiently as possible.
For me in this case - I set the host portion manually and use a system
for it as you describe. This makes things a lot quicker and easier
during configurations.
