Hello,
I have some issues running IPv6 on a bridged interface. For example
ethernet0/0 is in bridge-group 1 (with an IPv4 address on the BVI). When I
put an IPv6 address on the BVI I have no connectivity to other routers. When
I put the IPv6 address on the Ethernet interface I have connectivity (ping,
etc) but the interface does not accept routing updates via RIP. Once I take
the bridge-group of the interface - RIP updates are accepted.
Any ideas how to make IPv6 routing and Bridged interfaces work together?
R2 -----e0/1 R1 e0/0 ------ R3
So in other words R1 needs to bridge IPv4 between R3 and R2 (they are on the
same IPv4 subnet)
R1 and R3 also need to exchange IPv6 routes via RIPng.
Thanks,
