Hehehe. Yeah, there are a couple of indirect relationships, actually. Written results have to feed over to the CCIE database for recert purposes too. I was just trying to contrast what I perceive to be the CCIE database with the Cert Tracking System, which encompasses everyone who is Cisco certified, CCIE or otherwise. That's the first place to look for written results, IMHO. Since Henrique's CCIE number is in the 22k range, I'm guessing SP written will eventually change his status from "certified" to "recertified," as reflected by the verification tool (which I believe directly queries the "CCIE database"). But only after the written exam result flows from Vue to the Tracking System to the CCIE database...

Well, yes and no :-). Your written exam data needs to be in the CCIE
database in order for you to be able to book a lab.
