Best way to place a switch as a root for MST

Hi guys.

I doing some labs and in one of them i have task asking to place a
switch as a root for a particular instance of MST
I would like to know which of the followings is the best
.
For example instance 1

Spanning-tree mst 1 root primary

or

Spanning-tree mst 1 priority 0

I understand how works both of them but i would like to know wich is the
best of both if the task ask me to do it "in the best way".
