I have talked to a number of people that have had their score change from
Fail to Pass after a reread. To them, it was worth every penny.

One point is that it depends where your score is. I know some people that
had a score below 50 that tried for a reread. They didn't pass, but there
score did change a little.

Another consideration can be the cost involved. If another lab attempt
would mean $5000+ in travel costs alone then the relative cost of a reread
is much more attractive.

Proctors have stated on numerous occasions that the closer a candidate is to
passing, they look more carefully at the sections that were missed.

In the end, I wouldn't recommend it unless you figured your score to be
somewhere in the mid to upper 70s and you are absolutely certain that
everything worked and met the requirements given.
