In my mind, that's cutting it close. I plan on leaving the following
morning. Even if you check out of the hotel the morning of the test, you'd
still have to get through traffic to Raleigh, turn-in your rental car and
get to check-in, security, terminal, etc. I've never been to Raleigh, but
the East coast is notoriously congested with traffic, and the last thing you
need on test day is the additional pressure in the back of your mind of
making your flight. Even if I finish the entire lab 2 hours early, I would
spend the rest of the time double-checking my work than bugging out early to
make a flight.

you think a 5:55pm flight from RDU is ok or is that cutting close?
