As far as I know, site survey is close to black magic :)
Problem is, even the painting will afect your RF, not to mention
moving desks from one place to other, opening/closing courtains...
Ah, if this is some kind of depot, whatever you have in the shelves.
RF does cross walls, and your final goal is to have good signal to noise
ratio, which is not always equal to strong signal.
Is better to have lots of APs with low power than a small number of
strong ones. Alas, it is also more expensive :)
Also, pay attention to client density. I.e. each channel is shared,
so you may need to have more than one AP serving the same area if
you are looking at having many clients there with a minimum dedicated BW.
On the other hand, directionals work wonders on corridors.
RF is just another field of expertise.
