what you say is 100% correct. I have been looking over resume's & doing
telephone screens for a high level position here at work. out of 25 "CCIE
resume's" my boss gave me only 2 were actual CCIE's.
The other 23 were had either passed the written or been to a "CCIE class"
[whatever that is]. One guy even said he was a double CCIE -- turns out he
passed the R/S written [1999] & the voice written [2007].
I explained it to my boss this way --- ''I completed the CCVP in March &
passed the CCIE voice written @ Networkers but I would not know a Call
Manager if it hit me in the ----".
ppl take a lot of liberties when it come to the certs they have.
