Complete agreement that marketing is a very powerful influence. Also agreed
that the market in this world for overpriced junk is huge and spans many
product lines. :) I only wonder that with the current price of the
available products and with the small size of the CCIE training market, will
a product of this price produce enough sales to profitably support the
multiple companies who offer it? Also is there a certain market that is
captured only by these companies? Examples I can think of would be if Cisco
booked internal CCIE training only through 360 vendors, only allowed 360
vendors to accept learning credits for CCIE training, or required/strongly
encouraged internal employees to use this training.
