RIP - Leaking into major networks

Say a router has 3 interfaces

R1 E0/0 - 139.1.15.0/24
R1 E0/1 - 139.1.25.0/24
R1 S1/0 - 139.1.45.0/24

Advertising R1 S1/0 (139.1.45.0/24) into RIP domain, both subnets
139.1.15.0/24 & 139.1.25.0/24 will leaked into the IGP domain.

Is it a good practise to filter them off? A couple of times, i used a
distribute-list to filter off, but at a later stage during the mutual
distribution, i always didnt manage to get full reachability because of the
distribute-list.
