But the question was - what changed?
See the problem with NMC was not that they do not allow updates after a
given period of time...
Of course this might not be a bad thing if they wanted to compete in the
current market.
However, restricting access to licensed clients is kind of lame.
I'll admit I downloaded the stuff I had access to and I printed it out at
some point. So I still have access to it.
However, if I'm at a remote site and I need to reference something or a
given solution that one of their labs might have a good example for...
That aspect is no longer available.
Even the score reports from the CheckITs that we use to benchmark are not
available anymore.
I took the CCIE Accessor in May or June of 2006. I can still access it
online.
So...
No biggie...
Maybe we are all spoiled by Narbik, IPExpert, and InternetworkExpert and
everyone else.
Hah!
So who do you want to buy from?
The people who SUPPORT you or the one(s) who don't?
