Now that part is true. However it's products sold to three different
entities at that point. (ARS/ARG (can't remember which)) was before
Mentor's ECP-1, so there's longer evolution.
New owners = new business motives.

But with ECP-1 and ECP-2 and a few other products that look a lot like what
NMC-1 and NMC-2 was... the products that were from Mentor... look a lot like
NMC...
Which means that CCIERS-1 and 2 are ultimately direct descendents of ECP-1
and ECP-2...
Well that's my theory of evolution.

NMC cut all strings with their previous clients.
Mentor Tech did it before...
NMC is the Legacy of Mentor Technologies...
Cisco 360 is now the grandchild of both!
Guess which clients will get their cherry popped next!!!!
It's a business strategy! If you can't beat the competition, cut your cords
and start over with a new model.
