Yes and no :-).

Step 1: If BB1 is running CDP, enable it on you end and it will tell
you if there is a mismatch.
Step 2: Configure your end as auto and bounce the interface. If it
negotiates half duplex, then the other end is most likely fixed. If it
doesn't proceed to step 3.
Step 3: Ping BB1 with 10000 1500B packets. Look at interface counters.
If there are no errors, you are good. If you see late or deferred
collisions or CRC errors, you probably got it wrong.
