Hi Charles,
last input never, no packet incoming to your SW using this interface.
Probably there's no traffic incoming to this interface because
err-disable is matched before.
So when you fix the problem why err-disable is enabled, then you will
see packets incoming.
Can you paste your sw' config here? Something wrong with spanning-tree
is the most probable cause. Is the unix server dual-homed?
