Dear Experts,

In the above link, can someone clarify the use of access-lists 10 and 11
used in distribute-list command.

access-list 10 deny 130.10.8.0 0.0.7.255

access-list 10 permit 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255

access-list 11 permit 130.10.8.0 0.0.7.255

access-list 11 deny 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.255

sunets 130.10.8.0 to 130.10.15.0 are in RIP and 130.10.62.0 and
130.10.63.0 are in OSPF domains

So when doing redistribution from RIP to OSPF the subnets in the RIP
domain are denied from redistributed to OSPF because of possible loops.
This is clear from the access-list 10 and
distribute-list 10 out ospf 109 commands.

Similar way when doing OSPF, I believe the subnets in OSPF domain has to
be denied when redistribution to RIP .. but the access-list 11 is not
having that entries and
distribute-list 11 out rip commands.

Please clarify this doubt.

Also if someone can give some nice links of redistribution would be gr8.

Warm Regards

Thameem M Parambath
