I think these are just initial changes to at least get to an IOS that is
available for download w/out opening a TAC case! I wouldn't be surprised
if we see some more changes for CCIE Security announced at networkers
next year.

I wonder if this is because of the (lack) of maturity of the product vs
its
actual benefit? MARS gets goofy and doesn't always perform as
advertised.
(discovery, seed files, oracle problems, etc...) This could cause
difficulties
for the proctors and they may have decided it wasn't worth the hassle
since
its not that commonly used of a product?
