When you redistribute ospf into rip, did you try using a route-map and
permitting the default route of 0.0.0.0 ? What does your topology look
like? Where is your ASBR getting the default route from?

Can someone help me with this.

I have backbone router [ bb1] RIP connected to my ASBR router [r4]
RIP/OSPF I am redistributed ospf<---->rip my problem is how to get bb1
to get default route 0.0.0.0/0 from r4 ospf routes into RIP. MY ASBR is
in ospf nssa and I have some eigrp redistributed routes coming up stream
which isn't allow in nssa. So I need a default route for them on bb1 rip
router. I can ping my eigrp network if when I put in static route
0.0.0.0/0 on bb1 and point it to r4.
