networking idea, huh? :)

No worries. It's been years since I've played chess. And doesn't that also
bring up the point, if you are really good at chess, do you still
intentionally lose to your new-would-be employer? Is it considered bad
ettiquette to completely slaughter him/her during an interview?

That was exactly my point... How would doing just one thing prove anything.
Furthermore, how would chess show anything? :-) Of course, this is just
knee-jerk reaction, since I'm really bad at that game :-)
