Good luck and best wishes to all who attempted the CCDE. It will be
interesting to see who if anyone actually makes the mark or not. CCIE and
CCDE are complementary and I guess it will launch a new era of
differentiators.
About the comment on links.
Paul is pretty adamant about anyone using his message board as a form of
advertisement. Many already do it in the forms of signatures and links and
various responses with those same "ads" many times.
To be fair to Paul, he maintains the site and pays the bills and keeps a
lower level than most other vendors out there too.
I guess all the "pro bono" times does come at a sort of cost.
To be fair to Scott Morris, he's always been helpful to mostly anyone who
asks for help and as far as I know as not really been the biggest offender
the list has ever seen. He keeps his signature and that's pretty much it.
But he kept a signature as far back as when he first came to the list before
he was a CCIE. He's been humble if anything, despite holding 4 CCIE's.
