I was reading one story that all this is a Shamalyan-esque ending for the
Wall Street executives, or those who don't follow M. Night, kind of like
The ending of "The Usual Suspects" where it only makes complete sense once
you look back at everything that was said and done.

The bankers are "Verbal Klint" and the taxpayer/congress are "Agent Kujan"

They PLANNED to write bad Mortgages for $800k to pizza delivery guys,
securitize them into bonds, trade the bonds to their Biz School alumni at
other banks/funds, create credit default swaps, insure those swaps, create
more junk bonds out of those swaps, leverage the whole thing a few dozen
times up, buy US treasuries, use the treasuries as collateral for more
bonds, rinse, change the "L.P.'s" name from "capital management" to
"advisors" to "Partners", a few times to bring in new institutional
investors, rinse, wash, repeat, etc.-

BECAUSE THEY KNEW THEY WOULD GET BAILED OUT WHEN IT ALL COLLAPSED!!!!

This way THEY GET PAID TWICE! Once from the above antics, the second time
when they fold the taxpayer/congress over the bed in the upstairs guest
bedroom and sell all the junk paper they hold back to Uncle Sam!

You didn't think Wharton/Tepper/Sloan/Stern/Duke business schools charged
$70k a year tuition because they didn't teach you how to rip people off and
not go to jail, did you Gary?

Setup your auction alerts on Ebay... We may just get our second hand, half
off "Platinum 5960P annual calendars chronographs" yet! This fun is just
beginning!

-Joe

Would it be possible if this bill doesn't get through Congress? I wonder if
700 billion for something like healthcare would generate so much effort.
