I completely agree with Joe that a real CCNP bootcamp would be very useful
for a lot of people. For the majority of peopleand various reasons the
CCIE level will just never be a priority. However that does not mean they
do not want to learn. I also unfortunately know quite a few people in that
many people who have gone to non mainstream CCIE vendor bootcamps end up
with essentially a $4000 testking or 5 $800 rack sessions.

If the original poster is already at a CCIE Written Level then I agree with
Scott that why take a CCNP bootcamp and not push yourself to see how far you
can go. All of the vendors I know of have retake policies so I would say be
ready going in, but if you werent quite you can retake and at least you know
what the next level you need to get to is.
