Yeah! How could you forget about me? :)
Honestly though, I think the conversation has degraded to the point about
not being about individuals any longer. Other than Reza anyway, as he's the
one who asked for advice!
The best thing with any task is to break it down into stages. Multicast is
not necessarily easy to configure, hence it's an area that causes confusion.
That and it's not a "regular" topic in everyone's network design unlike
basic routing! :)
But can you break things down into simple tasks or stags? Absolutely!
Asking people on here is one good way.... Getting one on one mentoring is
another way... (Which, by the way, I wouldn't view as a waste of time at
all! But it may not be the "magic pill" either!) Going to a bootcamp,
where you can ask questions of an instructor sort-of-one-on-one would be
another way.
Oh yeah, almost forgot. OR, you can do it completely by yourself. The
reference books listed are good ones and contain the information, but not
necessarily the best way to parse it. That's what takes practice! And
playing around, and making lots of notes, and perhaps messing things up a
few times!
But those are the things that will cause you to "never forget" the
information.
No matter which vendor you do or do not go with, make sure that things jive
with your way of thinking!
For the Last-Month preparation, I would spend MOST of my time with the
topics you don't know well. Divide and Conquer. Break things up in stages
that will at least gain SOME of the points! For example, topics like
multicast will most likely be two to three separate point sections. You can
make sure to get your basic points (two out of three?) by knowing the basics
well. The more advanced part, you may look up. Or worst case, you may not
get. But on the flip side, out of the (example) 8 points for multicast in
the lab perhaps you can at least get 4-5 of them so that the overall hit
isn't that bad!
Don't get hung up on the quantity of details though. Create your own
hierarchical learning method of the topics.
Overall, relax! Take whatever help you can! If it doesn't work, smile and
move to the next method! :)

Reza,
The last thing you want to do is waist your time with one on one .......,
let me know if you really want to understand the stuff and i will show you
how its done, If you are going to do one on one and still use IE, i would go
with Brians or Petr.
