I dont get any such warning ..

SW1(config)#do sh etherchannel load
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Configuration:
        dst-mac

EtherChannel Load-Balancing Addresses Used Per-Protocol:
Non-IP: Destination MAC address
  IPv4: Destination MAC address
  IPv6: Destination MAC address

SW1(config)#
SW1(config)#port-c load dst-ip
SW1(config)#do sh etherchannel load
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Configuration:
        dst-ip

EtherChannel Load-Balancing Addresses Used Per-Protocol:
Non-IP: Destination MAC address
  IPv4: Destination IP address
  IPv6: Destination IP address

May be some issue in IOS version you are using .
