I've worked with Nortel switches for some time and they have good products.
They are behind Cisco in consistency across switching platform and service
modules.
There is also a problem with "direction" I recently attended a Nortel
seminar for unified communications and I was expecting to see demos and
solutions form Nortel but what was mostly presented is Microsoft OCS and how
Nortel can integrate with this product ....
It looks like they want to use Microsoft marketing machine to move them
forward but I am not sure how this will work for them.
