I just want to know that, let say for example in MPLS TE environment there
is TE from ingress to P router. To forward packet correctly until another
egress PE it need to enable ldp on Tunnel at headend and configure targeted
session at P router(destination of TE) right? At that point what is
different between enabling LDP on Tunnel & enabling LDP on normal
interface(eg. interface of ingress that connected to P router).
I 've read implementing MPLS VPN over TE from cisco.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk436/tk428/technologies_tech_note09186a0080125b01.shtml
I know what is solution when TE from ingress to P router from that link. But
still can't make it to understand since I don't want to learn technology by
heard.
Let me highlight my question again.
Question: why need to enable ldp on Tunnel ? do we also need ldp on normal
interface of ingress?
