Gurus,

I am working on a network design for our "Secondary Data Center". We plan to
connect our secondary data center using "Layer 2" connection.. Our primary
Data Center have 70+ vlans (All in same VTP domain). I was wondering if I
should have Secondary Data Center also in the same VTP domain or should I
create a separate VTP domain for Secondary Data Center. What is the best
practice in terms of # of vlans we can have in a vtp domain ( I know maximum
# of normal vlans we can create is 1005). Also when should I use extended
vlans? Is it a good idea to use extended vlans in this situation?

Would appreciate you suggestions. Thanks in Advance.

Shah
