I don't have access to my lab switches at the moment but does 'no autostate' work on those platforms?

well it turned out easier than I thought, I just created the vlan on each
switch: "vlan 2300", I hadn't created it yet because there were no ports in
it...the svi came up after that because they all have trunk links
