Dude - that is funny.
I often contemplated flying myself to the lab, but I have a policy that
I do not fly within 48 hours of "tying one on".
After every lab attempt, pass or fail, I found myself in a bar...
BTW - the real "Harrison Ford" of the CCIE Trainer group is Brad Ellis
over at CCBOOTCAMP. I thought I was a stud dealing with a complete
engine failure and landing in the desert of Arizona. He one-upped me. He
was struck by lightening in his Cirrus.

The question is Harrison Ford if you flew yourself in your twin engine
Cessna to the lab?
Or did you leave the Cessna at home and leave the flying to delta?

The day I passed I arrived the day before and left the day after.
I got the pass mark the evening of the exam. Luckily, I was not arrested
that night in RTP.
The day before and day after approach sure made it less stressful and
easier to pass.

Thank you very much for all the answers. I've got the idea. Steakhouse
or fast food for dinner depends on the mood at the end of the lab...
