Is that a MPLS VPN? It's normal that the service provider only
advertises a default ASN to you.

Regarding the log that you after, I think you can trigger a debug to
monitor all updates from your BGP neigbor x.x.x.x like this:

logging buffered
debug ip bgp in x.x.x.x updates

Anyone please comment.
