Interesting enough I'm going through this. I obtained my CCIE about 3 weeks
ago and it seems General Dynamics had already claimed it without my
knowledge. I have been an employee of them for 4 years and they must have
my ciscoid associated with them. I started my own corporation a short time
ago and have a 1 year contract signed elsewhere, so I'm leaving and I will
be taking my number with me. This should pan out in a day or so, but I'll
let you know how easy it was.
