I passed The CCIE on july 6th Dubai
It was my second attempt ...
Used IE racks and Mock lab for prep..
Started preparing for CCNP in october 2006 after leaving my old job of 13
years ( early retirement :-) )
Got interested in CCIE ... never took CCNA/CCNP exams went straight for CCIE
written in May 2007
After some initial problems ( most of them beyond my control ) started
preparing for Lab in August 2007 ...
after postponing two target lab dates went for it in first week of june
2008...
It was a replay of my mock lab attemp ( could only afford one ) I was toooo
slow and ran out of time even though I knew I could do it ..panicked in the
last hour and couldnt verify.... OH well its history
Went thru lab 7 to 20 ( IE work book ) setting time limit of 5 hours, by lab
15 I had my act togather and started looking for Lab dates in Dubai ( my
closest Veneu)
I want to thank my wife my kids and my whole family for their support
...being jobless for such a long period is a "situation" in it self then
add to it preparing for the Lab .. I truly am lucky to have such wonderfull
people around me.
Finally It could not have been possible for me without Dynamips / Dynagen
..hats of to the developers and of course All you great people on the GS
