I'm on 2 real switches right now;
SW1 is a 3560
SW2 is a 3550
SW1#sho eth load-balance
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Configuration:
src-mac
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Addresses Used Per-Protocol:
Non-IP: Source MAC address
IPv4: Source MAC address
IPv6: Source MAC address
SW2#show eth load-balance
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Configuration:
src-mac
EtherChannel Load-Balancing Addresses Used Per-Protocol:
Non-IP: Source MAC address
IPv4: Source MAC address
Do nothing that is not asked from you. If the tasks don't mention anything
just do what IS MENTIONED completely and move on.
At 2 hours left, even if the next to last task on the lab your stuck on is
go to a URL and enter your swift code/bank acct. # for a $2M Dollar wire
transfer from John Chamber's Secretary YOU MUST
INSTEAD GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING. You will find 8 to 12 points you missed on
little things early in the lab. You will get those easy points you missed
something small on earlier (but are very clear to you now because you are
FAMILIAR with the lab and you weren't when you first did those tasks).
There is a great children's story "The Five Chinese Brothers". Remember the
Chinese brother that could hold the sea in his mouth, and the little boy
that was supposed to come back when the sea wanted out of the Chinese
brother's mouth? The Chinese brother beckoned and beckoned, but the little
boy would not come back to the beach. He stayed out, and then- the SEA
exploded out of the Chinese brother's mouth and the little boy drowned...
You are that little boy if you don't heed my advice and come back with at
least 2 hours to go and start at the VERY beginning.

As i know , and also check on Cisco DOC , that the default load balance on
Both C3550 & C3560 is the src-mac....
So what if i got a question that state inusre load balance :
1- will configure etherchannel.
2- Will i leave the default values ? ( also the question doesnt give any
clue that lead to a specific type)
3- Does load balance src-mac , is active by default or shall i HardCode it ?
Thanks in advance ,........wosh me luck, Lab exam after 48 hours : )
