Technology labs are great things to go through in order to learn specific
technologies! But you need to spend time with full multiprotocol labs in
order to pick up on some of the nuances (translation = irritations) with
have lots of things go on at once!

Spend your time with the Vol2 labs there. Spend time fully understanding
WHY things happen the way they do, and even after you get used to the labs,
do them again using the DocCD to look everything up.

This will help you get into the multiprotocol mode and in the mode of
knowing how to look things up when you need to. No matter how much you
study, or how cool we are at designing labs for you, there will always be
SOMETHING to look up!

67 days still gives you room to work with, but if you haven't really started
the multiprotocol labs I think that it's definetly time to get working on
things! :)

Best of luck in your journey!

Subject: Any Advice is highly welcome

Guys,
I started studying for the CCIE R&S mid March after passing the
written exam. So far I have managed to read the following books:
1. Routing TCP/IP vol 1 and 2
2. Internet routing Architecture
3. Devoloping IP Multicast Networks
4. Cisco BCMSN (642-812) official Certification guide 5. I have a home lab
consisting of 8 2500 series routers and a 2950 and a 1900 series switch
onwhich I have used to practice and understand the core technologies.
6. I have studiedIEWB v4 vol 1.
7 I am at present contemplating on renting a months rack time for the same
vendors WB vol 2.
8. I have also used their advanced technologies cod.
The thing is I have less than three months (precisely 67 days) to my
lab date in dubai. The point is I need to gather as much opinion from guys
that have already made the journey. so that I make good use of the remaining
days left coz i am no t planning to let go of my lab date.

Thanks guys
