Do you have IP PIM RP announced and working? Paste "show ip pim rp mapping"
from both routers.

Subject: Multicast MDT issues

Hi All

I am having issues regarding Multicasting and specifically a MDT within
a VRF

The problem is that on router R1 the tunnel0 interface comes up however
it wont become a neighbor with the other MDT tunnels within the VRF

I am running Pim-sparse mode on all interfaces as well as the loopback's
(as required to do with MDT tunnels)

My IGP is working 100% and have full connectivity across the network.

I have relooked at everything and I cant figure it out, I am beginning
to think it might be a hardware/ios issue.

R1 is a 7200 while the routers that are working as 2691's.

Below are my configs, The MDT Tunnel address is 232.200.200.200 Router
R1 is the one with the issue

R1 Config

As you can see on R3 the tunnels all come up 100% and are becoming
neighbors with the other MDT Tunnels within the VRF

Maybe one of the experts can help with this one.

Thanks in advance
