Time management,
You need to decided what tasks you CAN get, do them first. What tasks
you MIGHT get and do those next. The ones you don't have a clue on,,,
leave them alone, IF you have time attempt them. Last time I spent too
much time trying to complete a task that I ALMOST got, and left 5 points
on the table that I knew how to do but ran out of time. There are
always exceptions to the rule, namely you have to get your network up
end to end, so you have to get your core working.
You got to Hit the task, Go to the next one, verify later. An example:
Don't wait for your OSPF, BGP, EIGRP neighbor relationships to come up
before moving on. Configure on Router 1, then go to Router 2, then to
R3, NOW go back to R1 and see if the neighbor came up, and so forth. If
the neighbors aren't there THEN trouble shoot and fix.
Most everyone that takes the lab, knows the technology, if you don't you
should take the lab. The trick is getting it done in 8 hours.
Andy

Subject: CCIE candidate failures..
Hi Everyone,
I'm going to be tested in August and i want to learn from mistakes of
other candidate who fail during the last year.
if you are this kind of candidate please tell me from your "hurting"
experience the following things :
- what subjects are the most difficult for you ?
- what questions do you think failed you ?
- how hard is it from the Ipexpert / Internetworkexpert labs ?
- which tips can you give to me ?
And of course if you can give me additional info about it that will be
more than great ...
