RE: CCDE

hehehehe... Unfortunately, I can't control how well people set their
controls of the AutoReply features. I just have an inbox rule that kills
those immediately. :)

As for the "everywhere" bit, that's not true. There will only be select
locations of the Vue SuperCenters. They are special testing centers with
extra security precautions. These are the places used by bar exams, medical
exams and fun stuff like that.

So I don't think there's going to be anything to worry about there for
precautions or problems. Just like people cheat on the CCIE exam, I'm sure
there will be SOME who try to figure out a cheating method on this one too,
but I don't believe it will be more than a blip on the radar.

Just my thoughts.

Well I wouldn't mind the computer based test, what scares me is they would
offer it everywhere. You don't have to go to 10 Cisco test locations but you
could be anywhere??? What is Cisco thinking?

Just another annoying thing.. why do people turn on their auto out of reply
for groupstudy.. it so irritating when you get out office replies..

I hope it ends up a solid cert, and increases my pay scale potential :D If
so, I'm on board. Meanwhile still plugging on the not so marketable SP IE,

I think it's a little premature to relegate it that far down.

What methology would you like to see used? And how can you make it a
scalable/reproducable concept? That's the hard part with developing any
exam.

The exam is still in beta and is being evaluated by a number of
highly-qualified (not to mention overly-opinionated) people. I would
suspect that any changes that need to take place, or things to make sure it
does no become a brain-dump-able test are being worked through!

Patience grasshopper....

So much for the CCDE being bigger and badder like we originally thought.
Gonna be a weekend braindumper :D
