Hi,experts:
configure frame-relay traffic shaping on R4 that will set a CIR of 64K with
Be of 0, and a Bc of 1000,the router should not pay any attention to BECNs
received from the frame-relay switch. The administrators have determined that
150bytes is the optimal transmission over the line, this should be able to be
accomplished regardless of the brand of router used.
I configured like this.
R4:
map-class frame-relay FR
frame-relay cir 65000
frame-relay be 0
frame-relay bc 1000
no frame-relay adaptive-shaping
interface s0/0
frame-relay traffic-shaping
frame-relay class FR
My question is that, what does it mean ("The administrators have determined
that 150bytes is the optimal transmission over the line, this should be able
to be accomplished regardless of the brand of router used")
should i add something else to the map-class to fulfill all of the
requirements?
Thanks in advance.
David
