I don't think VTP shows up in running unless you are in Transparent mode, at
least my switches don't:

Rack1SW2#show ver | in IOS
Cisco IOS Software, C3560 Software (C3560-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version
12.2(40)SE, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)
Rack1SW2#

Rack1SW2#show run | in VTP
Rack1SW2#
