Hi People,
Long time listener, first time poster, an ISIS question that was really
bugging me.
I was presented with a question to enable ISIS between 2 devices via
Ethernet, and also allow for the shortest possible hold time, whilst also
not causing adverse CPU, bandwidth and memory consumption.
I immediately thought of isis hello-interval minimal,
But this will also have an effect on the above mentioned system resources,
as per;
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/iproute/command/reference/irp_is1.html#w
p1013844
Whereas, adjusting the hello interval & multiplier manually would not meet
either of the requirements.
Can anyone comment / advise on this at all??
Thanks very much!!
