OSPF Default Routing

Hey everyone I am needing someone to verify a solution for me in hops of
putting this topic to bed. Rip is being redis into ospf on R1, all other
routers are OSPF only.

RIP) - - (R1)- - - - - - (R2)
              | area 1 nssa
              |
           (R3) <---- "area 1 nssa default-informaton originate"
             |
             | area 0 + all other areas
             |
           (R100) < - - default-information originate

The task is to make a default route appear in every area in the OSPF network
with the fewest commands. No default route exists anywhere in the network.
Area 1 can not have any external/EX routes but needs to accept the RIP
routes. Of course no static routes, summary addresses ect. So my only
solution (I think) is to create the default route in R3 via "nssa
default-informaiton" as it is the only ABR in the area. Then just place
"default-information originate always" in the network.

Is this right or is there a way to get R1 to create the default as type7 and
have it translated to type5 at R3 and propagated out to the rest of the
network? Can't seem to get that to work as there is not an existing default
route present in R1's routing table.

Thanks for your help.
