The old favourite - Service policy on FR interface vs service

Hi Experts,

Has anyone found any clear documentation on how and when to use
Service-policy style MQC With frame relay, When to enable frame relay
traffic shaping, when not to , when to use a map-class , when not to etc.

Am I right in thinking we are at a cross point in technology between legacy
and new i.e. legacy being frame relay traffic shaping, priority queuing, and
the modern day equivalents achieved through MQC.

Not sure about others, but I am never sure how to answer a Qos & Frame Relay
question. Whether to use MQC and apply to the interface or whether to use
MQC and apply through a map-class. Even when I do, when should we enable
'frame relay traffic shaping' under the Frame interface?

Anyone provide any sanity on this topic?

Regards
