EIGRP distance

Does the distance 255 1.1.1.1 0.0.0.0 1 command work in EIGRP or does it only
work for ospf? I am trying to set an external EIGRP route 4.4.4.4 with a
distance of 255 so it won't make it to the route table without any luck. The
advertising EIGRP router is 1.1.1.1
