Last I checked there were 7 continents... of course 1 of them I'm still
waiting until 2030 until it's melted, but then all 7 will be inhabited...

Small, like 65% off list as apposed to 38%

Networkhardware tests all gear then ships... I have had new gear show up
d.o.a. from cisco years back... its a crap shoot either way... the 2610's
from 1999 (made in the USA) still are more reliable than the XM's made in
Formosa...

I don't think most multinationals buy used. We operate in all three
continents. There is no way we can buy used and ship out ourselves. We buy
all new gear. The small discount that a used reseller would give us would
quickly get eaten up by the cost to ship and import the equipment - even if
none of the gear showed up doa which is unlikely.

Makes no difference... people looking for deep discounts these days buy from
the secondary market (like networkhardware.com)
I tell my clients I can't get you a discount like a Gold partner, but I'll
make it up by not charging you $375.00 an hour for my CCIE implementation
efforts...
I work with NHS to push gear...
Frankly, I don't know many companys that buy new cisco gear, the attitude is
its on smartnet anyway from networkhardware, do we really care?
