Hi GS,
I was wondering how valid CCM's (4.2.x) RTMT error & notifications messages
are ? Because lately we have been our RTMT tool is sending us bucket loads
of these notifications and some of them does not make sense at all ( like ,
number of gateways decreased by 20 where as we have NOT lost any of our
gateways and D channel out of service where we have not lost any E1 ints or
signalling channels on our IPT cluster. Or even surprising is that , when we
have not added ANY gateways , all a sudden , RTMT sends us an alert saying
that the monitored gateways have INCREASED by 15 ???).
I have captured some of our common RTMT errors below and I appreciate if any
one who dealt with them can give me some feedback , so that 1) I can ignore
them if they are just informational messages and no action required or 2) I
need to keep an eye on them as they can be False Positive notifications.
Secondly , the most critical issue here for me is HOW to find out which
Location or Region or Device Pool or MRGL , these errors belong to ? For
example , if I see Media List Exhausted message , the 1st thing that came to
my mind is , which DP or which MRGL she is talking about ?
Is there any way where I can configure CCM or RTMT tool so that , she can
send me more MEANINGFUL information as well along with these alerts ?
Cheers
tony
