I have tried them both and I have tried them one at the time... The thing
is that the default DO get put in to the database (se output below) but
do not get transfered to
the neighbor routers.. The neighbor routers do not have any filtering..
So, I have a static default.. I have tried :
Redistribute it in without using default-information originate (with and
without the allways keeword)
Using only default-information originate allways
Using both redistribute static and default-information originate (with
and without the allways keeword)
With every one of this options, I do get the default in to the ospf
database, but it does not get transfered to the other routers.
Are there any show or debug commands that shows what routes get transferd
from the database?.. My belive was the all the
database was transfered..
Please help

Are you doing both commands at the same time? "redis static sub" and
"default-information originate" According to cisco doc. When you have
a STATIC DEFAULT ROUTE and you want to redistribute into OSPF, you
must ALSO do the "default-information originate".

ospf.html

Hi group..
I am testing sending a default route trough ospf, but are not
able to do
it.. I really donb t understand why I am not???..
I have tried both using redistribute static as show`n below and
only
using the default-information originate always by
It selfe, but nothing is working.. I see that the default are in
the
database and the routing table but id does not
leave the router.. I have not any filter of any kind going on..
Anybody that have any idea what is happening??
