Hi Andy,
I'm sending you a link from cisco where you can get a better idea of the
differences of CRB and IRB. Basically CRB only does bridging rather than
routing. With IRB you can achieve both things bridging and routing at the same
time, this for lab purposes is sometimes used in the frame-relay switch (as
soon as you enabled the command to enabled a router in a frame-relay switch)
it will not route packets anymore so you can configure a BVI interface with
IRB so this way you can achieve both things in only one router.
