Dear Angelo,

I noticed when there is a loop in your topology your CPU go high.... but
for normal Lab, CPU stay at 0 t0 20% during IGP configuration. It go
little high when you start BGP peering...

In addition, Its depend a lot on IOS, IdelPC and the # of instance you
are using. I am using more than 6 instance for the lab.

Regards

Subject: Re(2): Dynamips on Laptop

Hi Amir,
   I recently bought a T8100 @ 2.1Gh with 3GB of RAM. I am initially
able to
load all Internetwork Expert Routers and Switches. FRSW, TERMServ, R1 to
R6,
BB1 to BB3, SW1 to SW4. I am getting around 60% CPU Util. I can still
work on
the idlepc values. My question is, what is the ideal CPU Util when all
are
working? Can you cite a range? 30% for all when no config?
thanks,
Angelo
